At the moment my mentor, teacher and friend, pronounced these words, it was as if the sun had lit all my intentions and the road I had taken. Have you ever had that feeling that no matter how much the others said it is important to define your goal, your path and to stay positive on that path, to trust in yourself, to act and take the steps, you still start to waver? You tell yourself to persist, work, and believe that all will be well. And yet, it is useless as there is an unexpected hill you will have to climb lurking behind the next corner.
Motivation is an important companion in achieving what we have envisaged. There is no life without the uphill climbs. The first step is to realize and then accept this fact, and finally embrace it by constantly rising and falling through life. Waiting for the difficult climbs to pass and spending time anticipating the good which is coming only makes us more tired when we need to be encouraged. Waiting is not living. Once we start consciously acknowledging the existence of ups and downs and that the impossible is possible, we start living the principle of living in the moment and in reality. When we are ready to accept that whatever happens we already have the necessary resources to cope with it, then we no longer need hope. Then we know that even what cannot be will be. We stop wasting our energy asking when this bad period will pass, as it never will. There is always something bad – some kind of a barrier or an obstacle. When it is no longer important how much strength will be necessary to walk a certain road, our being gets focused and the road itself starts developing, moving, flowing, seemingly on its own.
I am going forward, walking, working, climbing, going down, so may it be what cannot be, as I know who I am and I know that I can do this.
